Seed the Change!
Seeds of Diversity Canada estimates that nearly 75% of vegetable varieties have disappeared. 25% of native plants are at risk and diversity in flower gardens is shrinking.
We are working to restore the biodiversity that was once common in gardens, farms, and nature around Canada!

Traditionally grown as a dye plant in Europe, woad produces a brilliant deep blue colour after processing, and only lost popularity when Indigo imports arrived from the Far East. Woad is an architectural and interesting biennial with tall plumes of bright yellow flowers maturing into distinctive and unusual black seedpods. It’s also the plant that the ancient Celts dyed themselves blue with to chase away the Romans in battle (think the movie Braveheart….)!
All our seeds are certified organic and grown right here on the West Coast of BC.

I love supporting Canadian. I love that this is organic items came as described, and the team was very easy to work with and communicative.
Thank you so much! We love being Canadian and supplying all our wonderful people with locally adapted crops!
