In 2022 Metchosin Farm was contacted about the supply of Forage and Enclosure Enrichment for small pets (specifically rodents).

At that time, many pet owners could not supply these products from anyone in Canada. So, we saw an opportunity to help these pet owners acquire these quality 100% Canadian grown, totally organic, and absolutely delicious Forager and Enclosure Enrichment Products.

To this day, we us a mixture of by-product from our hand seed threshing process; as well as fresh ingredients from our seasonal harvests. We know everything is good, because we grow it and hand-prepare it right here on our 10-acre seed farm in Metchosin, BC, Canada.

Our research indicates that a good Forage or Enclosure Enrichment product should not be loaded with seeds. Instead, there should be some false opportunities to encourage natural behaviours in your pet.
