This long, thin Asian eggplant is a more reliable producer on the BC coast than larger varieties such as Rosa Bianca. What Ping Tung lacks in size it makes up for in length of harvest and steady fruit set. This is also a very decorative plant, with high-set leaves and pendulous pinky-purple fruit.Â
