Shipping Adjustments due to Postal Strikes

To all our customers: old and new,

We are so grateful for all of you. It is our deepest desire to offer fine quality seeds, clonal stock, forage, and enclosure enrichment that enhance and diversify.

Since November last year, Canada has been hit with rolling postal strikes. Following the new agreements with the Unions Canada Post hiked their prices. We tried to absorb some of that but as a small business it is just no longer possible.

Accordingly we have made major changes to our rates and how we resolve our shipping.

We will now price shipping based on parcel weight with all products benchmarked as follows:

Seed Packages: 2.0 grams (Max/Min)

Rootstock and Cuttings: 45g (minimum)

Forager Pet Mixes: 15g (minimum)

Forager Pet sprays, bouquets, twigs, and sunflowers: 45g (minimum)

Bulbils: 45g (minimum)

Tubers 300g (minimum)

The weights ensure that all soft and vulnerable products are not damaged enroute whilst balancing our costs and hope to offer the lowest shipping rates we can afford.

Orders 22g–44g up to 22 seed packages and/or~ 1-2 Forager Pet Mix and/or rootstock/cutting

$16 Extra Small Parcel

Orders 45g–135g Seed packages and/or~ 1-5 Forager Pet Mix/spray and/or rootstock/cutting

If you spend $200 this actually becomes free shipping with a $4 discount.

$22 Medium Parcel

Shipping Resolution

Our shipping will still be resolved on a Wednesday with all orders placed before 11am being shipping.

We will use a mixture of Chitchats, Canpar, Purolator, and Canada Post.

Canada Post will always be used for Rural addresses and PO Boxes.
