Strawberry Cherry Tomato

Strawberry Cherry Tomato

Solanum lycopersicum

Strawberry Cherry Tomato is a Metchosin Farm original—and honestly the best cherry tomato we’ve ever tasted! With its perfect balance of sweetness and tang, this variety produces heavy clusters of small fruit that range from single stems to triple bunches. The fruit ripens to a unique and striking pink hue, adding colour to the garden and plate. We are especially proud of this variety, which has become a standout favourite in our seed catalogue and test gardens alike.

Where Can You Grow Strawberry Cherry Tomato?
Best grown in Zones 3–9 in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil. Ideal for outdoor gardens and patio planters, but especially productive in greenhouses or protected areas.

History and Historical Uses

Selected over several years for flavour, colour, and vigour, this tomato was developed with fresh eating in mind. It's ideal for summer snacking, kids’ gardens, and any grower seeking a reliably delicious, good-looking cherry tomato.
