Goldrush Bush Bean

Goldrush Bush Bean

Phaseolus vulgaris

A reliable, high-yielding variety that produces tender, straight, yellow filet beans on compact, bushy plants. With a mild, sweet flavour and crisp texture, these beans are perfect for fresh eating, steaming, and freezing. Unlike pole beans, this variety does not require support, making it an excellent low-maintenance option for both small and large gardens. Regular picking encourages continuous production throughout the season.

Where Can You Grow Goldrush Bush Bean?
Goldrush thrives in Zones 3-9 and is well-suited to garden beds, raised planters, and containers. It prefers full sun, well-drained soil, and consistent moisture for best yields.

History and Historical Uses
Goldrush Bush Bean is a classic heirloom variety known for its excellent productivity, disease resistance, and adaptability. It has been a favourite among home gardeners and market growers for generations due to its uniform pods and delicious flavour.
