It brings together the best traits of Red Russian, White Russian, Lacinato, Rainbow, and sugar beet-derived varieties. Our selections are based on flavour, cold-hardiness, pest resistance, colour, and reliable year-round performance in coastal BC. Where Can You Grow Kale Mix?
Well-suited to Zones 3-9, kale grows best in fertile, well-draining soil with regular watering. This mix thrives in raised beds, containers, and open garden plots. It prefers full sun to partial shade and performs especially well in cooler climates, including mild coastal winters.
